I really love the idea behind these nail caps, and they’re such a much better alternative than anything like declawing. I wanted something to help protect our furniture while still being safe and humane for my cat.The caps themselves fit my cat’s front nails well, and I followed the instructions by trimming his nails before applying them with the included glue. The application wasn’t difficult, but my cat absolutely hated sitting still for it, so getting them on was definitely a challenge.Unfortunately, they only lasted about a day before he had managed to bite or pull most of them off. I think that’s more of a “my cat” problem than a product problem because I know every cat is different. I’m planning to keep trying since I still think they’re worth it if your cat will tolerate them.I …

The nail caps worked but I need shorter ones for my male cat. One caused a wound on his paw that required stitches because his nails are long and the extra length from the cap curled into his paw pad. It also makes it more difficult for them to clean around the base of their nails. Please pay attention to them regularly and remove as needed. I will not be using nail caps again.

Our cat that never scratched anything except for his scratching posts, suddenly started scratching our stairs runner after we moved into a new house. I tried putting scratching posts on and around the stairs but he wouldn't use them. Found out some cats prefer horizontal scratching posts (while some love vertical ones). He used the horizontal posts but still sometimes scratched the carpet runner ugh.Decided to try adhesive nails. Thankfully I've always trimmed his nails so he doesn't mind when I touch his paws. They were very easy to apply and he didn't mind having them on at all. I think most cats will need breaks in between, plus lots of treats to coax them into having the nails put on. We recently adopted two beautiful baby kittens from our local shelter that chose us as a family and we feed, love, and play with them all the time! They have been a blessing during this pandemic because there have been no dull moments and they keep us on our toes...... Then they started to grow really really fast LOL. Along with the growing we bought toys, scratch post, a $150 cat condo, and still they preferred to dig their sharp claws into our skin, couch, chairs, expensive furniture etc. Taking them back was never an option because they are our family and these kitty caps changed all of our lives completely.No more furniture being torn to shreds. Love these! Easy to use despite my cats dislike of being touched lol. I would say size chart is accurate. Took a couple tries to get the hang of the right amount of glue, and we’ve had a few oops. When the glue looks right I give the nails a squeeze and wipe any excess from the top and make sure any on the outside dries first. The glue does dry very quickly when it’s applied to the cats nail.(about 5 seconds) so move quickly. You can pre fill all the nails and it won’t dry before you get them all on though.The cats aren’t bothered by them, nails shed regularly. My furniture is no longer being shredded! For grey cat they last a few weeks before needing reapplied, the other tiny terrorist likes to chew hers off so I’m usually adding at least one a day.

These are a lifesaver! I never even knew they existed until I adopted a kitten in December. How long they stay on though really varies. The first few I put on Hamilton only lasted a couple days but then I got better at applying them and now they last for weeks. As one falls off, I just wait until Hamilton is napping and pop another one on.Today, I tried out a new technique instead of applying the caps while he naps. I bought some Inaba Churu purée treats and emptied out a tube onto a dinner plate. I spread it around the surface real thin then put in front of Hamilton. He loved it and it was able to distract him long enough that I could apply 3 new caps and let them dry. I got these for my black cat in size medium. He fits the weight range for that size. I was worried at first about ordering medium for him because in other brands he’s a large. He’s a big boy with big claws. Anyways it was pretty easy getting them on but I’ve also done it before and have had practice. They seem pretty durable too. The glue it came with will do the job and seems to be pretty gentle. I tested it on my skin by accident opening the bottle and I didn’t feel any burning or anything that would cause concern putting it on my cat. He also didn’t seem bothered by it either but I was also very careful not to let the glue spill out of the nail cap. Since I just put them on him I can’t say for sure yet that they will stay because he has been biting at them but he’s done that before and
