I really like how easy it is the get this product into the ground. The only issue is a small rock, which I have an annoying amount of evidently, stops it in it's track. I had to hand dig a hole, screw it into the ground until a rock stopped it then filled the hole with concrete to get it to stay in position. It didn't go as planned but I would recommend this if the soil is free from rocks.

These auger stakes are the bomb. Solid through n through wasn't sure how I was going to get them into the ground 3 feet but a 3 foot pipe did the trick actually the big auger at the bottom and the angled point worked well still took me a bit to get them both all the way in I think an hour fighting through roots and rocks. But damn my once knocked over tree is not going anywhere. Extremely happy with them the best anchor for my job tried 6 other earth anchors called duckbills didn't feel they could hold the weight they only go down 2 ft max. But since they were already in I used them in tandem with these anchors, feeling very secure.

I was a little leery reading reviews about the weld strength, but I had no issues. I dug this in using a 4 foot prybar (actually an old prop shaft for my boat - I knew I saved that thing for something). It was fairly rough soil with roots and rocks - I was just praying I found good spot. But I was able to sink it all the way down and the weld held with all the torque I could apply to it. Did the job well.

I used it as a boat anchor for a 32' ski boat - even in a huge wind storm it held in sand.After a few weeks of use the top 1' above the sand did bend over.... but its still holding.
