Brampton Premium Golf Grip Tape - Tiras adhesivas activadas por solvente de 2 x 10 pulgadas para reajustar el agarre de palos de golf

These are great. Las ones I tried from anaother vendor were clear glue covered plastic which were real crap. These are split backing paper (easy to strip) perfect sized, and work very well.Would easily buy again. I am on the board of my club and have steered a number of my golf buddies to these... Well done.

I have been re-gripping my own clubs for a long time and have always used double sticky tape from a roll. I tried these and found it to be very easy and convenient since they are precut and you just peel off the backing.

I always regrip any club I get, and these tapes work as well as any as long as you don’t linger between applying the solvent and sliding on the grip. Maybe I’m just slowing down with age, but on my first try, the grip was only on half way before the tape was too sticky to go on. After that first attempt, I didn’t dawdle and things were fine.

These will only work with their solvent or mineral spirits! If you try using water or lacquer thinner or something it will totally not work and leave you disappointed.I wish these tape strips were longer, I had to use one and a quarter of a strip for each club, but when I used mineral spirits it worked very well.

Works well - saves you money. You can do your own grips easy peasy with this, a hook blade, rubber vice grip, and grip tape spray. All these are available at Amazon. You will save yourself money long term by doing your own grips and you know they are done right. Just make sure you get the hook blade so you won't damage the club shaft when removing the old grip.

I hadn't replaced a grip on a golf club for several years so I only kind of remembered what I was doing. Luckily, this pack of golf grip strips had instructions in the package on the back of the front label. The process went very well and these worked very good. The grip slid down the club shaft easily and they seemed to set up in good time. I love my new grips and these grip strips did the trick. I would recommend these.I received this product at discount for my honest testing and review. I am under no obligation to provide a positive review and receive no incentives or rewards for doing so. My aim is to highlight features and drawbacks that I would want to know about as a buyer, not hype the product for the manufacturer. My remarks are sincere and my own. I work very hard trying to …

I've re-gripped 16 clubs so far at home. These grip strips are key. They work great combined with the HF-100 grip solution. What I do is remove the backing from one side and lightly stick the strips onto the bottom of the cleaned off shaft in an offset fashion, with 1/3 right of shaft and 2/3rds left of shaft, and leaving 1/4 inch beyond the end of the shaft so it can be folded in to cover the top edge of shaft after it's fully wrapped around. I press down the 1/3 side using thumb and index finger to smooth and tamp down bubbles or slight ridges so the 1/3rd side is adhering to the shaft just fine. Then I press down the 2/3rds remaining, smoothing as you go. Since the shaft tapers, the tape can overlap a little over narrow areas and not quite touch in a wider shaft area, it's not a …

Having the pre-cut strips makes re-griping go smoother for me, than messing with a roll of double-stick tape. If you don't have the ultimate gripping station with the roll dispenser that winds both tape and build up tape, this is a good way to go. I could not justify the money to get that more expensive ultimate station, so I bought the regular setup with vise, alignment jig and solvent tray. It was $152 on sale, and a great tool. It makes the job more precise, and less of a mess. You want those grips as straight as they can be out of the shoot, because with some of them you have only seconds before they set up too tight to mess with. So this unit from Golfsmith is all I will ever need for myself and my buddies out of the old garage. You can get by with a bench vise, a cheap shaft holder …
