I have tried several items to try and remove cat hair and I have to say this black silicone brush wins hands down! Just put it in your hand and make nice short even strokes. The fur pulls right out of the sofa or clothing fibers and piles up before your eyes!I brushed my entire huge sectional sofa front, back and pillows, in about 20 minutes. I had tried the pet brush on my sweeper, one of those metal scraper type gizmos with a wooden handle, tape, you name it. Nothing works like this brush.It will brush fur off your pets but don't expect the fur to stay in the bristles. But thanks to static it will stack up in nice piles for you to pick up. Yes! I have a lab who sheds the size equivalent of another lab each day. I would always try to get out of carpooling with my car out of embarrassment for the state of my car seats. Picking up friends or having to give people last minute rides was always began with the excuse "Sorry for the mess! Hope you don't mind all the pet hair!" which was always met with a polite but uncomfortable "it's okay!". I really liked the way this product worked. I was detailing my car which had about 8 years worth of dog hair in it. I tried about 3 different devices to get the dog hair out and this one was the cheapest and worked the best. Second best was the pumice stone cleaner. The pumice stone did surprisingly better than I though it would. The least effective was a rubber blade device, but it did work well on tight places, although the rubber blade wanted to work loose.The handle makes on this makes it nice for cleaning the large carpet areas. One thing that I want to note is it is a good idea to after brushing an area with it to vacuum the brush clean or otherwise you can transfer a few hairs to clean carpet areas.Also, don’t worry about the brush raking all of the hairs to one area. I just received this today, and it looks exactly like the Norwex one I have and seems to work the exact same way. The size is exactly the same, the bristles are the same (maybe a little more flexible, but not enought to affect the quality of the work), the handle is exactly the same material, there are two little screws in the same place on the underside. But it is so much less expensive! I use this to clean my microfiber mop (I have a Norwex one and Libman) and between rooms, I use this to get dust and dirt off the mop. It is amazing. It picks off everything, including hair and grass and dirt. I bought this one as a second brush for my shoes. When it rains or snows, the treads on my shoes pick up everything, and it gets caught in the little crevices of the treads. I use this and …

I use this exclusively on rugs--a wool Oriental and a wool kilim. The brush removed nearly all of the long cat hair and worked better than the bar beater brush on my vacuum. It's a bit more effective on the flat-weave kilim than the Oriental rug. As other reviewers noted, the brush does leave little strings of hair, which requires you to further brush to remove everything. However, for the price, I find it quite effective. The brush is extremely easy to clean. Just rinse under water. I worry that the repetitive brushing isn't great for the rugs over the long term, but it's more gentle than products that work by pressing or lifting the fibers. The brush also works on fleece blankets and on my sofa's cotton duck upholstery.

I bought this to use on my bed for cat hair. I have many cats and they love sleeping on my bed. They unfortunately shed like crazy and the comforter needs to be cleaned off daily. I was getting tired of having to vacuum it constantly.I really wish this worked as well as I thought it would. It does not gather up the hair at all. It does create a lot of static, which it is supposed to do to get the hair off, but that doesn't seem to help at all. If anything, the static makes it worse. If this would have just pushed the hair into a pile, I would have been happy with it. It would have been easy enough to just grab the pile of hair and throw it away. It doesn't do that. What it does do is gather up the hair into tiny little balls or tiny matted hair clumps all over the bed, which is next to …
