I am in the process of digitizing years of photo prints. I have a scanner for most of them, but there are some photo albums from which individual photos are not removable, so they can't be put in my scanner. For those and other physical objects, this tripod is great because you can lay the album page or object flat on a table and the extender pole reaches over the table, pointed down to the object or page. Use the included wireless remote to trigger the actual photo 'shutter' action on the phone. The phone holder is a bit tight but not excessive, making it relatively easy to attach or remove the phone from the holder.

GREAT! It is very sturdy and good price for the quality. I regretted not buying the tallest one. I should have ordered that instead but overall, it is excellent! Hoping it will last longer and let us see.

This is PERFECT! I bought a different one a few months ago and it as AWFUL, so I went with this on based on the reviews. It is a bit more expensive but honestly I think it's worth it. I use my for my social media account showing books and doing other types of content and it suits my needs very well and Im so happy with this purchase. My phone sits in the holder nice and snug. It is adjustable so it can fit different models. I would be sure to double check your model phone. I tried it with the iPhone 17pro and 16 pro. It's very sturdy but light weight and very easy to use.I love the height adjustments as well and even has a level to ensure it's balanced. Highly Recommend!

I'm giving this five stars because it's built very well, and the remote is a nice feature. So overall this is a positive review. But for my use case, the base takes up too much floor space when I need the camera mounted high, so consider that for your purposes. There is no central stick that raises and lowers - height is achieved only by the three feet. This would work great for outdoor settings, but I need something for product photography, and my space is cramped, so the floor space is an issue. I am considering a different product that clamps onto a table instead.

I like that it grips my iPhone securely but not so much that it trips the emergency notification response on my phone. The problem with this product is that the horizontal arm is not really long enough for a lot of my overhead filming needs. It is only 45 inches tall once you take off the horizontal arm. To be fair, it states quite clearly in the description that the horizontal arm is 25 inches long so that's on me for not noticing this.Here's why the tripod is too short at 45 inches. The standard height of a kitchen counter is 36 inches. If you use the horizontal arm, this means you only have 9 inches of filming distance. Photos shows the horizontal arm being used over a countertop in the accompanying advertisement. I find 9 inches to be way too close to making videos in the kitchen …
