Grey Pneumatic 1311SD Impact Socket Set
This is supposed to be a DEEP socket set. Unfortunately, most of the deepness is wasted on non-functional metal. Comparing this with a Craftsman standard 8-point socket set I purchased in the 1990's the socket points, that is the part of the socket which actually grabs the fastener is deeper on the Craftsman standard than on the Grey deep. Basically, the Grey's 8 points are only a small fraction of the actual socket body. For this reason the product gets a C- from me! That having been said they do the job but had I known the 8-points were so shallow I would have opted for the standard depth.
