I had to return these
I had an older model of these handlebars, but one of the plastic arm rests broke and I couldn't find a replacement part. I figured it would be easier to buy this new set. Like the old ones, they're well made and work for the sort of triathlon stance they're designed for. However, the feature I wanted is what made them useless: the arm rests are designed to spring up so you can grip the bike's regular handlebars laterally, which I sometimes like to do. But the awful clattering/smacking noise caused by these springs when going over even a slightly bumpy road is more than enough to ruin the experience of riding a bike. Any imperfection in the road surface gets them going, causing a racket the whole street can hear. I used them on one ride and immediately knew I had to return them. Maybe you
