I needed a dark-finished writing desk for my computer and, well, writing. I wanted real wood and not particle board, and I wanted something approximately 60 inches wide that included drawers and a keyboard tray.This desk fit the bill. It has that mid-century modern look as well as a smooth finish. It is sturdy enough for me to type on without shaking, and cable management is simple, since it's really just a desktop with four legs.About the legs. They are two legs per side and they come attached to a wooden railing. The rail attaches to the underside of the desk with a mix of screws and bolts. The unit seems sturdy, but it's not a work bench. I am so impressed with this desk! It’s not only gorgeous but also very functional. It’s large enough to comfortably hold my two monitors, and the build quality feels very premium and sturdy. It has made my home office look much more sophisticated.

This desk, on its face, looks amazing. Unfortunately, that is where it ends. The table legs are consistently faulty, often breaking in transit because they are placed in the same box as the extremely heavy tabletop, which is not padded or protected in any way.The damage to the legs varies so much that even if I did put this table together with good legs, I would have zero confidence that it wouldn't collapse afterward. Given that this table is notably heavy, I don't want it to collapse while I'm at it, or get woken up to a crater forming in my apartment because of it, etc.Honestly, the worst experience I've ever had ordering from a company on Amazon. Amazon has gone above and beyond (the replacement desk just arrived today, a day early, and they already scheduled a return pickup tomorrow).

Such a great find! Nice design made of quality hardwoods, and very sturdy. Easy set up - took about 30-40 minutes to unbox, assemble, and discard packing materials. Well-priced!

I had been eye-balling this desk for almost a year now and finally made the move and purchased it--I am so glad I did! I was a bit nervous about folks saying theirs had arrived damaged but mine arrived pristine and in perfect shape. Super easy to put together, you just have to bolt on the legs and add a few other screws; the two drawers and keyboard tray are all fully assembled and attached. It's just beautiful and I love that it's real wood and not particle board. As others have said, the drawers are shallow but that's ok by me as they still accommodate a couple paper notebooks/tablets. It's heavy and stable and a nice height. Fantastic to have the extra real estate for multiple monitors. Highly recommend.

What drew me to this desk in particular was three-fold: the Mid-Century Modern design in solid wood, the dimensions (60" wide + slightly deeper than your standard computer desk), and the keyboard tray.What I find troubling about this desk is the quality for the price. Now, I got this on sale for well over half off at only $400, but that seems like it should be closer to the regular MSRP and not $870. For that price I could have gotten a nice quality MCM desk from West Elm, albeit without the very useful keyboard tray. The solid wood is definitely on the low end of the spectrum of quality in terms of solid wood. There are plenty of places on the exterior of the desk sides that are not sanded smooth, much less finished with lacquer. Speaking of lacquer, upon arrival it had an awful chemical
