A solid well made ball-head. It came with everything I needed to add it to my tripod including an arca type quick release plate. The head is rather heavy and large to fit comfortably on my small travel tripod, but it fit perfectly on my full size legs, screwing on securely with no issues. The ball head worked very smoothly and the locking knob was easy to hold and turn. The head itself could rotate smoothly through 360 degrees and there was a tensioning screw to adjust how smoothly it would rotate. Ultra robust tripod ball head that's huge! 52mm is quite a hoss. This is a heavy duty one. Movement is smooth and well controlled. You have separate controls for rotation and also the ball head. Simple arca release with a level on the top that works with any arca plate. The plate that comes with it has security stops to prevent it from sliding out the side.I'm extremely impressed by this ball head, it's just as smooth and even ergonomically better than some of the Falcam and Manfrotto ball heads I've owned and use regularly for personal work.
