Great little tv! Just remember it only comes with a few channels but it’s a hit with our 8 year old so far.

I love this little thing. I fetched some old black and white tv shows and put them in this, and it's like magic. The sound fits exactly what I'd expect for a TV at this scale. It works as a wonderful ambience when coding or even resting, especially for anyone used to falling asleep to their TVs. There's a lot of room for modders, like adding rabbit ears (old term for antenna pair), a stand, even a little texture to the knobs. The software converted my.mp4 videos to their.avi format and ratio, with a few options like aspect. I took out the microSD card (carefully, because there's a little stopper in the corner that has to be pressed to release it). Transferring videos through my own adapter was much faster. I am delighted with this.

Cool trinket and joke item, or could be good if you make miniature sets. Setting up videos is kind of a process and the controller is iffy on battery and reception but can't expect much from the size.

What a wonderful thing this is! More that a toy, it's been a blast to put short movies on to play in a dollhouse, fireplace mantle, coffee table or at my desk at work (lots of smiles comments from people). It's relatively easy to upload files from a computer. I just wish it were not quite so expensive. But it makes a great gift with pre-loaded content such as family home videos, funny cat videos, horror film clips, etc. Pretty much anything you want to put on it. Use your imagination!

I am happy with my purchase. This "TV" does what they say. It makes a tiny picture. The image quality is as good as it can be when the screen is 0.9" diagonal measurement. It has good color and brightness. That's the best part. The audio is mostly poor. A single voice is tolerable, but music is bad. You shouldn't purchase this expecting to use it for videos that depend on sound. You have to download a "Converter" app from TinyCircuits to process any video you have to play on the TV. You transfer the converted ".AVI" videos from a computer onto the TV directly, the same way you would copy a file to a USB flash drive. The unit charges via a standard USB C connector. What a cute gadget? It's amazing that something so small has such a good picture?The TV is easily loaded with.avi videos. There is 4.37GB of storage and a 30min.avi uses ~240MB so that should give you an idea of how many videos you can load. If your videos are of.mp4 format the online video converter at the tinytv website can convert them to fit the little screen. I glued 2 small magnets onto the back and now it's a refrigerator magnet. Makes a great conversation piece. I loaded the candy maker episode of I Love Lucy on it. The sound isn't very loud and distinguishable in a noisy room but it's there. Around the late 90’s or early 00’s my friend’s mom had a small battery powered TV that we brought with us on a road trip. It barely worked and the battery didn’t last long BUT I just thought it was so cool. This memory prompted me to look up small televisions on Amazon to see how much technology has advanced since that long ago road trip.That’s when the MiniTV popped up! It just arrived and I only had moments to play with it. But the tv has working knobs which I used in order to change the channels and adjust the volume. There are some preloaded items already on the device and about 4-6 channels. They even added the channel number on the screen. I know it's silly but the idea of this tiny tv just tickles my fancy.The picture is perfect and clear. A magnifying glass is not necessary to view anything on the tv either. I didn't get a chance to try the remote but I can only assume they work fine since the buttons on the remote are certainly bigger than the knobs actually on the tv.
